Toynado delivered another excellent transaction. As for Slug (originally Slag) himself, the toy is very durable and converts easily between dino and robot modes. Perhaps the only flaw, if there is one with this figure, is that the robot mode's wings may be challenging to snap into place in dino mode.

other than a third party jazz. this is my first official transformer since 2013 or 2012, I actually really love it! other than the flappy panels on the back, the build is very solid and the paint is very crisp, the robot mode is very bulky and broad with a huge range of articulation for its size. his triceratops mode is just as fun and I kind of love how dumpy it looks. the problems now first is the articulation of the feet in that they only tilt inward between the legs and not foreword or back which makes it unable or very hard to pose him puffing his chest out like i usually like to do with my figures but I noticed it it's like that for most modern retail transformers, probably to prevent heavier toys from faceplanting so it's not much of a problem. the last and biggest problem is that the hands are painted all black over light grey plastic and I noticed it's already chipping, I feel like it definitely could have been molded black but I could only assume budget constraints had to do with it. the painted hands are not very noticeable on the product images or video reviews and if I knew they were painted, It would have been a deal breaker for me. but other than that I really do love it and I'm glad I have it, I just hope there'll be an upgrade kit for the hands in the future.
