Recently the trailer for the new Masters of the Universe film started playing on YouTube. Excitedly I tried to explain to my 6 year old son who the characters were, like Skeletor and He-Man. As an 80’s child myself, I just couldn’t resist buying this for him, mostly because it didn’t cost like 60 bucks for one measly action figure. My son loves it, mostly for playing with he’s Lego Marvel collection. Which I assume is because he cannot find his Godzilla toys.
It is pretty accurate to the (much) larger Mattel toys from that bygone era.
I’m looking forward to taking him to the movie, even if he only has a passing interest in He-Man.
