The product was fine, the service and shipping was terrible! Arrived later than originally said.

This customer, who lives across the country from us, inexplicably expected their Canada Post 'Expedited Parcel' to arrive at much costlier 'Xpresspost' or 'Priority' speeds, was perplexed that we needed, at the very least, one business day to physically process and fulfill their order, and seemed to think that Canada Post picked up parcels from businesses 24-7. They viewed a generic, 'boilerplate' ETA that the Shopify platform we use automatically displays on every single order, but that guestimate does not take into account the fact that we are mere mortals that must perform duties in time and space in order to fulfil orders, not meta-humans who can tap into the Speedforce and instantaneously ship their order out the moment it is received. The vast majority of our customers are rational people that understand the common sense of all this, so we suspect that this customer's experience with online ordering was either very limited, or non-existant before he placed and order with our store. We referred this customer to Canada Post's own online factpage for Expedited Parcel service that backed up everything we said about 'business days', rural/remote destinations, etc., and revealed their shipping estimate for parcels shipped nationally using that service, but as you might expect, being shown contradictory information straight from the horse's mouth, as the saying goes, did not go over well with this person who seemed determined to find fault with US over how Canada Post actually operates in the real world. All we can do at this point is counter this false narrative and move on.

Pre-Orders

  • Pre-orders require immediate payment at checkout.
  • We cannot guarantee pre-ordered items will be available on the estimated arrival date due to factors beyond our control, so we cannot stipulate a specific ship date, but once received we will promptly ship out your order.
  • Pre-ordered items may arrive later than the advised availability date posted on our website due to postal interruptions, Customs’ delays, manufacturing issues and other logistical problems.
  • Pre-ordered items are acquired in addition to our regular stock, so if you consider cancelling your order, please be advised that, if approved, a 15% restocking fee, or $5 (whichever is higher) may apply at our discretion.
  • If you combine in-stock and pre-ordered items, ALL items will be shipped at once when the pre-ordered items become available.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

  • Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
  • Several types of goods are exempt from being returned; perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
  • Additional non-returnable items include gift cards, downloadable software products, and some health and personal care items.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
  • There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted, if applicable:
    • Blu Ray, DVD, software, video game that has been opened.
    • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
    • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
  • Late or missing refunds, if applicable:
    • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

  • Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

    • Some very small items such as single LEGO minifigures will be shipped via postal mail since the cost of trackable and insured shipping for inexpensive items like these art too excessive to bear.
    • The primary Canada Post shipping method used within Canada is "Expedited Parcel" service.
    • The two Canada Post shipping methods used to send items to the United States are "Tracked Packet - USA" and "Expedited Parcel - USA."
    • All items will be well and safely packaged for shipping.
